Civic center was an individual project mentored by Harvard Graduate School of Design’s Career Discovery Program. It was based on a site visit near South Boston where two factory buildings were to be hypothetically replaced by a community center which will serve to bring together the residents around the area.

This project was inspired by Tezuka Architects’ Fuji Kindergarten, where the curving shape created endless possibilities of encounters and conversations.
